We're looking for an experienced Associate Product Manager to drive product discovery, execution, and optimization of our travel booking platform. The ideal candidate will blend analytical thinking with user empathy,and have a track record of shipping successful B2C products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Discovery:
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points and opportunities in the travel booking process
- Use data-driven insights to identify high-impact areas for product improvement
- Develop and validate product hypotheses through rapid prototyping and user testing
- Collaborate with design and engineering to create innovative solutions to user problems
Product Execution:
- Own the product development process from ideation to launch
- Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog
- Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with engineering teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality features
- Manage trade-offs between scope, timeline, and resources to ensure timely delivery
Analytics and Optimization:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for new and existing features
- Implement robust tracking and reporting systems to measure product performance
- Conduct A/B tests to optimize conversion rates and user engagement
- Use analytics tools to derive actionable insights and inform product decisions
- Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Align product initiatives with overall business strategy and goals
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product launches
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in B2C digital products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Proficiency in product analytics and A/B testing tools
- Data-driven decision-making skills
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Basic understanding of web and mobile technologies
- Knowledge of API integrations and third-party services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the travel industry or with travel-related products
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts for personalization and recommendations
- Experience with internationalization and localization of digital products
