We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the planning and execution of our data platform initiatives. This role involves managing the product roadmap, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy, and driving key data-focused projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at breaking down complex requirements, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the data platform and product roadmap, balancing current goals with future strategic planning.
- Define and track quarterly objectives for the squad.
- Translate major platform initiatives into clear, actionable tasks.
- Document and maintain various artifacts to support development, including PRDs, process maps, use cases, UAT plans, project plans, knowledge bases, and release notes.
- Develop user stories and facilitate grooming sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize tasks and monitor progress to ensure a superior customer experience.
- Proactively resolve issues and remove roadblocks to maintain smooth product delivery.
- Serve as an expert on data product offerings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Address customer requests and operational requirements in a timely manner.
- Conduct market research, user interviews, and testing to validate and refine product features.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Persuade and influence stakeholders with objective, data-driven insights.
- Provide regular updates to align squad goals with broader organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Background in Construction Architecture is a plus.
- Proven experience collaborating with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into engaging design concepts.
- 6+ years of product management experience, ideally with hands-on experience in SaaS and Enterprise B2B environments.
- Strong knowledge of platform products and data systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across departments.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- Familiarity with web product design and web technologies.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, with experience working within Scrum teams.
