Amazon is hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Vendor Investigations & Transaction Accuracy (VITA) team to drive development of our fraud investigations case management solutions. The product is a one-stop-shop for investigator needs, including case workflow, fraud detection, data access and querying, case resolution, and many more features. VITA is responsible identifying and preventing theft, fraud, abuse and waste globally. Sleuth, the investigator command center, is the center of the investigators' work. From using rule-based detection, machine learning, or large language models, the product owner must pride themselves on understanding the investigators' journey. The selected individual must obsess over a fraud investigator's experience, ensuring that the command center is providing best-in-class features.

This position spearheads our efforts to improve global fraud investigations and case management through product innovation. You will closely collaborate with customers to deeply understand their needs and develop solutions to address those needs. You will set the strategic vision and roadmap for fraud case management products. You will manage product initiatives and work with system owners, business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and investigators worldwide to drive end-to-end enhancements and visibility into our fraud detection and prevention suite.

Thriving in a fast-paced, demanding environment is critical. The ideal candidate is a self-driven quick learner able to efficiently manage multiple high-priority, cross-functional product initiatives with leadership visibility to enable Amazon's scaling. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication and able to synthesize complex ideas into clear and actionable timelines using efficient processes like Agile to execute the product roadmap.

Key job responsibilities

- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs in fraud investigations and case management workflows.

- Define the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for fraud investigations case management solutions.

- Translate business opportunities into detailed product requirements and user stories.

- Manage the product development lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and continuous releases.

- Prioritize requirements and define minimum viable products, balancing trade-offs between time, effort, investment, and value.

- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring execution against the product roadmap and alignment with broader organizational goals.

- Define and monitor success metrics to measure product adoption, performance, and business value creation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to support product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop subject matter expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and investigations solutions.
- Identify future needs and opportunities to evolve systems, processes, and solutions through prototyping and innovation.
- Proactively mitigate risks and address potential failure modes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions and effective stakeholder management.
- Mentor and coach team members on product management best practices.


- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
